A Sporty Minimalist Shoe for Optimal Foot Function

The Xero HFS II is a foot-friendly athletic shoe that helps you build strong, healthy feet and encourages lower body freedom of motion during active pursuits. Touted as a road running shoe, the minimalist HFS II also works great for a variety of other athletic endeavors, including walking, hiking, tennis, squash, racquetball, pickleball, gym workouts, and fitness classes of all kinds. Thanks to its great versatility and its attractive design, you can use the HFS II as a casual shoe for trips about town as well. Due to its lightweight and compact nature, this shoe is also great for traveling.

Wide Toe Box, Flat & Flexible Sole, Low Stack Height

The Xero HFS II possesses a number of design features that allow your foot to function as nature intended, including its flexible upper and ample toe box—two inclusions that help ensure your toes have plenty of room to splay. The flexible sole and the low overall stack height of the thoughtfully designed HFS II promote optimal agility and ground feel, and the zero-drop platform of this vegan shoe helps activate natural arch support while stabilizing your ankle in weight-bearing situations. Also, the adjustable instep and midfoot straps of the HFS II allow you to achieve a secure and personalized fit.

Can Be Combined With Other Beneficial Footgear

Thanks to its wide, anatomical toe box and accommodating upper, the Xero HFS II works great in combination with  toe spacers for most sets of feet. It also pairs nicely with other beneficial natural footgear, including , or , and . • To get the most out of your Xero HFS II shoes, the manufacturer recommends that you order your normal US shoe size. HOWEVER, because we recommend that women order the men's version of this shoe (to achieve the greatest possible toe box width), simply adjust the sizing down by 1.5 to determine the comparable size in the men's version. For example, if you normally wear a women's US size 8 shoe, consider ordering a 6.5 in the men's Xero HFS II instead.

If you're on the fence about what size to order, consider ordering both sizes and then simply return the size that doesn't fit as well for a refund. If you have concerns about sizing, feel free to contact us or Xero customer service.

Sizing Tip #1: To create additional roominess within the shoe, we suggest removing the included (optional) shoe liner/insole; this action does not, in any way, affect the performance of the shoe. Optionally, and to enhance balance, posture, agility, and general foot/body awareness, you might consider adding thin, flexible Naboso insoles instead.

Sizing Tip #2: Correct Toes toe spacers will often add width and length to the foot. If you’re planning to wear Correct Toes with your footwear, we recommend sizing up, especially if you are on the border between sizes.
